The Year 5 Boys’ Football Team played a first round match in the Sutton and Cheam Cup against Cheam Common yesterday.
The team started the match really well and took an impressive 4 – 1 lead into half time. Early in the second half the opposition began to create more chances and scored two quick goals making it 4 – 3. However, Avenue never gave up and took their chances as the match continued and in the end won 10 – 3. A special mention to Rida who scored five goals and was player of the match.
