Football League

Last week, the boys played their final match of the season. It was a thrilling action-packed match, and the boys secured yet another win. They beat Dorchester 9-4 with goals from Kian, Kai, Max and Xavier.

A massive well done to every child who has represented the Boys’ A Team this year. It is a great achievement to have come second in the league; winning every game but one all season! We are immensely proud of every individual and their commitment to the school. You should all take pride in your achievements.

Missing Sports Kits

Unfortunately, we have recently had a number of sports kits that have been used for different sport fixtures and tournaments, but have not been returned.

If your child has represented Avenue for a sports team since September, please could you check at home for any unreturned t-shirts, shorts, coats or socks. This would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

PE Team

Through to the final!

A huge congratulations to the Year 6 Boys football team for reaching the final of the Sutton Schools FA Cup! They had a tough semi-final, where they met a very strong Cheam Park Farm side. It was a fantastic team effort and all the boys gave 100%. Two great goals from Charlie-Ray and Kian mean that the boys are through to the cup final, where they will face Cheam Common. Well done boys, we are proud of you!
